The following instructions pertain to specifically to repositories hosted in GitHub. For Bitbucket support, click here
NOTICE: Code reviews for connected repositories can now be requested from the PullRequest dashboard. We will continue to support assigning code reviews based on the presence of "[pr]" or "[pullrequest]" in the pull request's title, but this no longer necessary.
Please note if you're an Unlimited service client there is no need to assign code reviews to PullRequest using the method below. All of your repositories' pull requests will automatically be assigned. Email email@example.com if you're interested in our Unlimited service.
Make sure the GitHub PullRequest app has been added to the GitHub organization that contains the repositories you require for code review.
You can verify PullRequest has been installed and added by checking here.
Log in to PullRequest.com and select Reviews from the sidebar menu. Be sure the name of the GitHub Organization you need to request a review for has been selected from the drop-down at the top of the screen.
If the GitHub Organization you need to request a review for is missing from the drop-down, follow this guide.
Click the Request Review button on any of the code reviews you need to assign to PullRequest.
Once assigned, the pull request's status will change to Pending. Once a reviewer has been selected and has started work, the status will change to In Progress.
A comment will be automatically added to the pull request in GitHub to confirm it has been received by our systems. This will usually appear within 2 minutes.
